In this update is the release of the Overseer of Elation, Diana, who in her childhood chose to become a monster in order to survive violence and fear. Now she stands at the top of the food chain, defining herself only through domination and destruction. This update also adds a new difficulty to Portrait of Thierry - Glorious Era, alongside a couple more balance changes, with specific spotlight on Sarka and Rebecca. We’ve also made changes to make your experience smoother! A reorganized Adventure Guide, smoother animations alongside new filters for sorting. More information is available below: ■ Knight of Veda * For the featured 5★ Knight of Veda, your suffering is her joy. “Armies, I'm here!” To survive, she had to become a monster. To grow stronger, she had to trample others. Ruins remained wherever she stood, and screams echoed with each footstep. After proving herself through domination and destruction, she set out to hunt her newest prey: the world - Diana is a Fire-type Melee DPS who wields a Greatsword. - Her Normal Skill “Hymn of Agony” attacks with a sweeping slash and a downward strike. With each cast, she loses HP but gains “Sadism”, which provides ATK Boost and Fire DMG Boost. - Her Signature Skill “Strike of Elation” allows her to leap above her enemies' heads and deliver a powerful downward strike. She can consume her “Sadism” to restore HP, gaining “Exhilaration,” which grants “Normal Skill DMG Boost” and “Increased Durability.” - Diana alongside her Signature Weapon “Song of Ashes” can be obtained via Call of the Stars. While her Signature “Reigning Halo” and her Signature “El Cid of Cruel Warmth” can be obtained via “Mark of the Sworn Loyalty” and “Fragments of the Painting” respectively, which can be found on the “Guidance of the Goddess” menu. * The Flower of Oblivion returns as a featured 5★ Knight. - She has forgotten everything in the constant experiments inflicted upon her, but Bluebell persists, and this time there will be no more suffering. - Bluebell is a Blood-type Melee Support who uses a Greatsword that inflicts [Increased Blood DMG] on enemies she hits, with a random chance to inflict the [Bleed] status effect. - “Bluebell” alongside her Signature Weapon “Blood Flower Sword” can be obtained via Call of the Stars. While her Signature Halo “Dreadful Halo” and her Signature El Cid “El Cid of Lost Name” can be obtained via “Mark of the Sworn Loyalty” and “Fragments of the Painting” respectively, which can be found on the “Guidance of the Goddess” menu. ■ A new difficulty for Portrait of Thierry - Glorious Age! * The new difficulty “Imperishable Age” will be added in this update. - In “Imperishable Age,” enemies will have higher HP and deal more DMG than the previous stage. - The difficulty consists of 2 floors, with a boss clear granting you 12,000 progress points. - The “Unfinished Chronicles” Insignia will be given to you as reward upon first clear. * Imperishable Age will have its own rank leaderboards! - When clearing Imperishable Age, your progress, that is clear time, will be tracked and put on a leaderboard. - You can view the Knight composition the Players ranked in the leaderboard used. - No separate rewards are provided for this leaderboard. * New Graces alongside some adjusted ones will be added to Portrait of Thierry and the Portrait of Thierry: Glorious Age. - The Lena Elrod Grace for Portrait of Thierry will be adjusted. - Four (4) Brilliant Graces and 1 Power of the Fallen Book will be added as exclusives to Glorious Age. Glorious Age Exclusive - Power of the Fallen Book The Book of Blood and Death HP recovery effects will be reduced. ■ A reorganized Adventure Guide arrives with this update! - A new section will be added to the Adventure Guide that allows players to view multiple types of content at a glance. Daily, weekly, and seasonal content will be categorized and displayed on the screen. - You can immediately check a brief progress status of each content, and jump directly to it. - For content that supports Sweep, the sweep function can be used immediately. - The Footsteps of the Past tab, which previously displayed only select content, will be removed. Content such as Adventure, The Beast’s Nest, and Veda’s Nightmare can now be found under the second tab titled "Dungeon". ■ Combat Visual Effects Options added! * Skill effects and Knight outlines can now be adjusted to increase visibility and info clarity during combat. - These visual effect settings can be adjusted on Settings > Combat. - In this menu, among other things, you can now hide the skill effects for other players who joined your session during Normal Combat. There is also an option to display only the effects from the currently controlled Knight during Squad Combat. - Through the outline adjustment feature for Knights, you can select which outlines to display during Normal Combat, or select to display only the outline of the controlled Knight during Squad Combat. - These options only apply to content where an option to manually control the Knights exists. ■ Balance * Another set of Knights of Veda will be up for adjustments. - In this update, the Knights of Veda Sarka, and Rebecca will be adjusted. - Going forward, we plan to make these Knight of Veda adjustments more regularly through our monthly updates. Knights of Veda Category Adjustments Sarka Passive Upon enemy hit, Lighting DMG will be increased by 10% for 3s (Max Stacks : 10) Normal ATK DMG increases by 67% when using Lighting of Truth. Normal Skill DMG of Thunder Strike will be increased by 50%. Lightning DMG applied by Thunderstorm Bolts and Thunderstorm Arrow will now be set at 120%. Signature Skill DMG of Thunderbolt Strike will be increased by 50%. Rebecca Passive Upon being hit by an enemy, DEF will increase by 30% and Tenacity by 20% for 10s. (Max Stacks : 5) Signature Skill The “Flame of the Sacred Fire” will now apply these additional effects: - 70% reduction in Additional DMG received - 50% reduction in Damage Over Time (DoT) received. - 50% increase in DEF. * Balance adjustments for Shadow Waters and Ancient Giant incoming! - The HP and Resistance of the boss monsters featured in Shadow Waters and Ancient Giant will be increased. - You’ve all become too powerful for these supposedly fearsome monsters! That’s why we’re giving them a bit of a leg (or tentacle) up with some adjustments to their stats. We know this will be kinda controversial so rest assured that we’ll be on a special lookout for everyone’s feedback on this change to see if any more adjustments are needed! ■ Improvements * Craft better food! Be the Gourmet you always were and strengthen your Knights before they march into battle! - Food that used to be only obtainable via chance can now be crafted directly! - Higher-tier dishes can be cooked using the lower-tier versions of these dishes plus some gold. eg.) 6 Grilled Meat plus 100 Gold will be needed to craft a single Special Grilled Meat. * Improvements to the How to Obtain buttons for items will be made! - Selecting acquisition paths for items that used to transfer you to their location before opening the selected menu, will now just display the menu itself.
